Galaxy CB Radios & Components

It is commonly known that the CB abbreviation stands for Citizens Band radio. However, some market experts call it Constantly Buying radio, and in fact, they are not far from the truth. The peak of its popularity was back in the 1970s, and it might seem that more modern wireless connection standards confidently push CB out of the market. But it's still there, and companies like Galaxy continue to develop and sell such transceivers rather successfully. Actually, Galaxy radios are considered some of the finest in this sphere.

Although their main principle and radio frequencies are the same as many years ago, the quality of communication is improved. Galaxy CB radios have become more powerful, functional, and convenient to use than ever. The Galaxy CB radio DX 959 is one of the most popular models by this brand. Capable of working in AM, SSB, and PA modes, this forty-channel mobile transceiver has advanced noise filters and blankers, five-digit frequency display, built-in meter with four scales, automatic SWR circuit, 3-position tone control switch, and plenty of other features.

Such a multifunctional device can perfectly work with even weak signals, and numerous advantages make it especially appealing to truckers and radio hobbyists. Meanwhile, Galaxy is also famous for its 10-meter amateur transceivers such as the DX 44HP, DX 94HP, DX 29HP, and others. Besides, it manufactures a stationary amateur transceiver, the DX 2517 model working in AM, FM, SSB, CW, and PA modes. Having a variable power output and numerous adjustments, this model possesses an extremely wide range of functions that cover the needs of both amateurs and professionals.
