Fleece specializes in a variety of solutions for performance enhancements from an exhaust to a full competition drag racer or sled puller. The company's line of Cheetah Turbochargers, TurboBrake, and TapShifter together with engine builds, custom tuning, and transmission upgrades brought the company's name into repute. Today Fleece provides a variety of quality products and develops new innovative ones for the automotive aftermarket industry.
Fleece Performance Engineering, LLC was founded by Brayden Fleece in North Salem in 2006 when he started to develop the TurboBrake for his 2004.5 LLY Duramax. A year later the company's founder partnered with Chase Fleece, his brother, and Chad Huff, an established business proprietor, to set up Fleece Performance Engineering, Inc. (FPE). Over time the company has acquired a reputation of a leading truck builder and now it keeps pushing the limits higher.
The company's capabilities include diesel performance, performance engineering, and contract engineering. The diesel performance industry is rapidly growing, and Fleece is always striving to stay ahead by manufacturing state-of-the-art trucks in house. Fleece performance engineering develops and makes hard parts and electronics for the performance automotive aftermarket. All its products meet or even exceed the highest standards in terms of quality and innovative technologies. The company also offers contract engineering services to the automotive aftermarket by providing engineering solutions needed to improve a product.
The company led and continues to lead an active social life by holding many different events and activities. For instance, since 2009 Fleece has been the proud host of the North Salem Old Fashion Days Truck and Tractor Pull, which has become more known within the truck pulling community and attracts more and more trucks owners year by year. The company also patronizes the Purdue Diesel Dyno day. In 2012 it upgraded its facility and moved to Brownsburg, Indiana, a town famous for such world racing leaders as Don Schumacher Racing, Morgan Lucas Racing, and John Force Racing.
