    Stage 1 Organic Transmission Clutch Kit by EXEDY®Up the ante with an EXEDY Stage 1 Organic Disc racing clutch kit. If you've bumped up your horsepower a little, and want a more robust clutch with more clamping load and only slightly higher clutch pedal effort, this is the right clutch for you.

    Installation

    EXEDY® - Installation Instructions

    EXEDY organic racing clutches use only premium friction materials that are resistant to slippage and burst. Increased clamp loads give the necessary capacity to handle modified engines. This is the preferred clutch for street and light track use. Drivability is similar to the stock clutch. Pedal efforts will be slightly higher because of the higher clamp loads. All of the Stage 1 clutch discs have spring center dampers to reduce drivetrain shock.

    Not Sure Yet
    The kit arrived early, and packed well. Everything looked great. That said, since the kit was installed the clutch has been dragging, creeping in first and second gear from a stop. When in the air, you can shift freely up to 4th gear without stalling the engine, without the clutch pedal. The Mazda dealership suggested that the pressure plate might be too weak to properly disengage (wrong plate, or low quality) the clutch plate. They were clear it might be something else however, though they think this is likely, so I do not quite know how to review this. After paying for the installation, I have not had enough money to have them pull it down to figure it out, so the car isn't drive-able.

    Great Clutch Kit!
    Brand new, one of the best clutch kits I have installed, very easy to install and adjust gives your car very nice smooth and easy shifting capabilities I'd recommend this clutch to anyone looking to replace their clutch on a budget.
