Product Details

Premium Disc Brake Caliper by DFC®. DFC calipers are Manufactured or Rebuilt to the standards of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and are guaranteed to meet or exceed the OEM’s strict standards for performance, drivability, and durability. They’re also 100% pressure tested to ensure reliability and long-lasting performance.

DFC calipers come with a rust protection coating that matches the color of the OEM coating if it comes with zinc. If the OEM calipers didn’t have any rust protection, ours will be zinc plated where applicable. Red and Black powder coating is available. 100% brand new phenolic pistons replacement - Over time, excessive overheating or unexpected side loads can compromise and damage phenolic pistons. Any possible heat damage and stress cracking of a phenolic piston cannot easily be determined or identified through normal non-destructive inspection processes. Visual inspections only reveal typical appearance issues such as cracking, chipping or decay. Visual inspections cannot predict the internal condition of the phenolic material.

Centric Remanufactured Caliper
This caliper was the front passenger's side caliper; when I received the caliper I was very impressed as the re manufacturing process made it appear brand new. It functions as a new caliper would for a much better price than a new caliper. Literally bolt on, bleed caliper, and start braking. Excellent stopping power. I replaced both my rear calipers roughly 20,000 miles ago and they have worked perfectly. I turned to Centric to get my front calipers because the brand is high quality, American based, well priced, and I trust their brand.

Great Option Over Factory
These are as good as new. Watch the Centric video on how they re manufacture these calipers. You will be impressed. The dealership and local shop offered these as options versus new and both said they had very good results. You can. Install them yourself with a little help bleeding the brakes or take them to a local shop. I had both rear calipers installed for 1 hr labor. They look great and performance perfectly.

Fantastic Option
These calipers are a great option over OEM new calipers and significantly less expensive. The Acura Dealer offered these same Centric calipers as an "aftermarket" option at double the price. The local shop that I use for tires and brakes said they have also used Centric calipers with very good results. i had them installed by the local shop because I was pressed for time and they look great and work perfectly. The local shop charged 1 hr labor to install both rear calipers and bleed the brakes.
