Product Details

Universal Hoodliner by Dynamat®. Size: 32" x 54" x 0.75" (813mm x 1372mm x 19,05mm). Square: 12 Sq. Ft. 1 Piece. The Hoodliner protects your car's paint finish and get that show car look with a custom thermo-acoustic Dynamat Hoodliner. The Hoodliner's "Sound Soaker" foam absorbs engine noise, delivering a quieter listening environment in your vehicle. In addition, the Hoodliner's 1 mil. reinforced aluminized skin creates a water/oil barrier that reflects up to 97% of radiant heat to protect the hood's paint finish.

The effectiveness of acoustical foam is dependent on its ability to convert sound waves into heat energy. The Hoodliner has a combination of open and closed cells to accept sound waves and dissipate them. If all of the foam cells were open, sound waves would simply pass through. Conversely, if all of the foam cells were closed, few sound waves would be absorbed. The Hoodliner’s acoustic foam is cast in sheets, achieving consistent resistivity levels throughout the foam. Thus, maximum sound absorption is assured.

When I bought this kit, it was not hard to install it by myself. Great material which is easy to mold and roll. Necessary purchase after getting a top stereo system. Thank you very much.
