Tailgate Mounted Black Powder Coated Tire Carrier by DV8 Offroad®. Material: Steel. The DV8 Offroad TCJL-01 replaces the weakest link on the OEM spare tire mounting system, unlike Jeeps of the past the JL features a cast steel internal tailgate structure. This means that it is much stronger and more capable of handling heavier loads. The DV8 TCJL-01 replaces the factory bracket that connects the spare to the tailgate itself. It also makes the mounting system adjustable to accommodate up to a 35” tire and wheel combo.

Warranty

DV8 Offroad warrants all parts of its manufacture, furnished under this agreement, to be free from defects in workmanship and material for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This limited warranty covers the cost of the product.

This limited warranty does not cover:

Installation
Labor
Normal wear and tear
Abuse
Damage caused by misuse
Damage caused by collision

This limited warranty does not cover any consequential damages, including but not limited to the expense of being without the vehicle during inspection or repair/replacement period, delay, or mileage. Additionally, any and all implied warranties (including the warranty of fitness or merchantability) are limited for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This limited warranty is void if the product shows signs of alteration, modification, misuse, mishandling, improper care, and/or neglect. Also, this limited warranty is void in the event of improper installation. The liability of DV8 Offroad under this warranty is limited, and at DV8 Offroad option, solely to repair or replacement with equivalent products within a reasonable time. The original limited warranty period of any product repaired or replaced by DV8 Offroad shall not thereby be extended. During the warranty period, this limited warranty is not transferable.

DV8 TC-1

I'm loving the XV8 TC-1 tire carrier. Had some issues with the installation....the weld on the top hinge for the eccentric broke...have bolt holding it till I can get it re welded....and the drivers side latch plate was twisted so I have to re align that. All in all it's a great tire carrier. These ar ed minor issues that I can fix when I have a little more time and some warmer weather.
