No Waves
This hood was awsome. came intact on the first delivery. It was lightly sanded and then painted. It looks sick on my truck.

Cowl Hood 95 Mustang
Lets just start off by saying this is the biggest waist of money I’ve yet to spend on my car. Showed up ding scrapes packed poorly, put the hood on car, the studs they put in bent out and in, look at the figment the sides not even close to straight the figment on the fenders in spots were at least 1/2 lower and some spots higher. Poor customer service from Extreme Dimensions, literally have 20 hours of work in this hood just so it looks presentable.

The Build Quality Is Not Good at All
When it was first fitted and painted it looked great. Unfortunately once it had heated up and cooled down a few times, lines from the inner supports appeared. They're simply not strong enough. Also, the mould Duralfex is using needs replacing. It only lines up correctly on one side. The other side tapers down too much at the front and makes contact with the headlight.

Only Purchase If Hood at Body Work
Only purchase this hood if you are prepared to do a lot of body work. When I received my hood I had to remove the hood hinge springs because the hood was so flimsy it would bend instead of close. Also the top of the hood would flex significantly with one finger. Had to completely re-fiberglass the inside of the hood and fill lots of pin holes on the exterior.

Looks Good But Requires Work
Got this hood to replace my stock 01 330ci hood and it looked great online. I didn’t receive any shipping information until I got a call saying the driver was at my home waiting for me to come pick up the package:/(luckily I was home that afternoon). It required a hood sanding and a decent amount of trimming underneath the hood in order for it to fit properly. The oem hood latch will also not be able to be used as the holes that are pre drilled in the fiberglass are about a 1/4in off. It will look good once work is done, but don’t expect a quick hood swap and paint/wrap.

SRT Fiberglass Hood (Unpainted)
Hood came in cheap conditions. You can feel bumps all on hood when you tounch it. It's going to cost more to get hood fixed, than what the price cost.

I Was Opening for High Quality.
Duraflex item# 2483312105 via CARID. For the price I would of thought that the quality would of been better. No help from CARID. The hood I received has a crack in it about 3/4" round crack. Deliver was slow. I opened the box and the hood was nicely wrapped with plastic and supported with wood stands. I signed the paperwork and said goodbye to the driver. Apparently I needed to do a better inspection according to CARID. The hood looks nice. But when you really take a closer look. Some of the gaps are inconsistent. Edges are lost and rounded when should be sharp. Opposing corners are different where the headlight meets. And a big crack in it! See pics. Carid customer service told me to make a claim with the delivery service company. I saw no obvious damage from the delivery service. Customer failed here..I guess.

It's The Customer's Fault.
Ordered a Duraflex hood via CARID. I was told before placing my order that the product was in stock and ready to ship. Wrong! I placed the order 3/13/2022 and received a delay notification 3/17/2022 in which CARID blamed it on a manufacturing delay....blah blah. Received the hood today. I opened the box, seen that the hood was nicely wrapped in plastic and mounted to boards to keep it off the ground, and i signed the paperwork and the driver left. I cut through the tape and plastic to get to the hood and it looks great! But then I found a quarter sized crack in the hood. I called CARID and was told to call the shipping company. What a joke! They do not back up their products quality or their delivery service. Basically it was my fault for not doing a more thorough inspection of the hood before releasing the driver. Otherwise the hood is awesome. My dumb loss.
