Extreme Dimensions® - Installation Guide

All body kits and products sold by Duraflex are aftermarket products and are intended for off-road or show use only. The brand is not liable for any damages or injury as a result of the use of its products. Due to the material and processes used in production, products will not be a “direct bolt-on.” Duraflex products may need prepping, sanding, shaving, filling gaps, and/or other body work. Modifications may include removal of the reinforcement bars, bumpers, turn signals, and other safety equipment on the vehicle. Duraflex highly recommends that a professional “custom” shop with fiberglass body kit experience perform the installation. Auto shops experienced in OEM installations may not be experienced in aftermarket fiberglass installations. All products sold by Duraflex are for off-road and show purposes only. Due to strict regulations by the Department of Transportation, some of these products are not approved for street/highway use. The brand does not recommend, and in fact discourages, these parts to be used on public streets and highways.

Duraflex warrants its branded products to be free from manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials when used for their intended purposes. This warranty is non-transferable. Any part of a Duraflex product that is covered by this warranty and that is found in reasonable judgment to be defective in materials or workmanship will be replaced in full at the request of the customer. For example, Duraflex will not replace a complete body kit if a single component is found to be defective. The following situations are not covered by warranty: Any Duraflex product that has been subject to misuse, neglect, accident; or that has been improperly installed. Any Duraflex product that has been modified or altered from its original manufactured state.

Hood and Trunk Fitment Guarantee

Duraflex stands behind the fitment of its products. Once your hood is installed, Duraflex will fully replace your hood if it does not fall within the following guidelines of the brand’s Fitment Guarantee. Hood does not clear a stock engine. Gaps between the hood and the fenders are more than 1/2″ wide on each side. Hood levels more than 3/8″ higher or lower than the fenders. Latch is too long or too short compared to the stock latch, causing the hood not to latch after adjusting. Duraflex does not guarantee fitment on vehicles that have been involved in accidents and/or have had body damages or customization. Hood pins are required.

Gaps between the trunk and the rear fenders are more than 1/2″ wide on each side. Trunk levels more than 3/8″ higher or lower than the rear fenders. Duraflex does not guarantee fitment on vehicles that have been involved in accidents and/or had body damages or customization.

Nice looking bumper and good quality. Custom fab is a must with this though. The LED light housings on the outside of the grill are separate pieces that have to be trimmed and attached to the bumper professionally. Other than that it pretty much bolts right on.

Bolts straight on, no need for any custom fab on the rear bumper as long as you don't care about having the parking sensors reinstalled. It's very light compared to the stock one but the bumper pictured is not the one they are actually selling. The bumper I received is actually smaller than the stock bumper. The bottom of the bumper stops at the top of the exhaust with a mild diffuser coming down off of it. Overall a quality piece but not what I expected.

Front Bumper
Really fragile. Clips were not knocked to clip on the lights and front grille.

Mid-Range Quality for a Low Price
Fit well, for the most part. This bumper comes with no attachment points so drilling is required. It actually seemed to be a few mm two short (width wise) but every car is different. Being short, on my car, required minor shaving around where the headlights meet the bumper. Also, this bumper is more flat on the bottom than the pen one so it does look a little closer to the ground compared to the body. It's not too noticeable though. Note: in addition to taking off the pen bumper you will need to remove the brackets in front of the sidemarkers. Verdict: good quality fiberglas and easy install (for the price).

Relatively Good
Overall, I can’t complain too much. I knew when buying a Duraflex bumper it would need a lot of prep work and probably wouldn’t fit right. I was correct. After sanding it down some, painting it, and doing a few various things to make it fit a little better, it ended up looking really cool. You’ll definitely notice the headlight gap the most, but it’s not horrendous and that’s basically the only issue with fitment. If you’re going for a perfectly clean build, save money and search for a Mugen. If you’re putting it on a beat up car you drive the balls out of, go for it.

It`s very cheap feeling and I’d recommend buying something you know will be better for the money you are already going to spend. It would be worth spending any extra money in my opinion.

Does Not Fit. (TD3000)
Purchased this bumper as it closely resembles the action package bumper, and was initially pleased with fitment on the 7th gen, so began prepping it. Once the headlights were installed to fit the piece, it became obvious this bumper was not going to be salvageable. The headlights protrude an extra inch out of the bumper if it is flush with the fenders and upper radiator support. I fabricated special brackets to push the bumper out to fit the headlights, but then the upper section of the bumper is too far forward and leaves you with a one inch gap between it and the front of the hood. I pulled it back, and the piece broke and even with modification was not even close to fitting the hood line. This piece looks great, came with grills, but is not deep enough to fit the application. Would not recommend to anyone, even master kit installers.

Excellent Alternative to Action Pakcage
Product arrived taped together and was not damaged in shipping. Finish was okay, aside from some minor pitting and mold residue. Everyone was surprised at how light weight the pieces are, and how flexible they are from end to end. I ended up panel bonding these over the original rocker covers, and they look excellent! While not a bolt-on part (they will need sanding, modifying, and painting) these were an affordable alternative to finding action package side skirts.
