Warranty

Dorman Products warrants that the product is free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the period stated below:

Hybrid battery – fleet: 12 months from the date of purchase
Hybrid battery – non-fleet: 36 months from the date of purchase
Manifold Converters: 60 months or 50,000 miles from the date of purchase
Heavy Duty DPF / DOC: 24 months from the date of purchase
Light Duty DPF / DOC: 24 months or 36,000 miles from the date of purchase
Heavy Duty EGR Coolers: 36 months from the date of purchase
Light Duty EGR Coolers: Limited Lifetime
All other products: Limited Lifetime

Dorman will replace any of its products that in Dorman's reasonable determination does not comply with the foregoing warranty. This warranty becomes null and void if the damage is caused by: misuse, abuse or accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation; exposure to harsh weather and/or chemicals; or lack of proper maintenance. This warranty also becomes null and void if the product is opened or any sticker is tampered with, broken, or missing, or if the damage is caused by any other condition that is beyond the control of Dorman Products.

In all cases, Dorman shall not be responsible for any type of incidental, consequential, or special damages. All other warranties, including the implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and the implied warranty of merchantability, are excluded.

By accepting this product, you hereby waive and release any claim now or hereafter existing against Dorman Products, its employees, officers, directors, agents and customers, on account of any and all claims, demands, suits, causes of action and all legal proceedings, whether civil or criminal, damages, losses, liabilities, (including, but not limited to, strict liability in tort), obligations, penalties, judgments or fines and other sanctions.

Performance By Product And Staff

Was Not Programmed

Said it was supposed to be programmed or come with the Dorman programming tool. It didn't come with the tool and it's not going into low gears or shifting properly. Spending 60.00 to get programmed at dealership and if that doesn't work the unit is defective.

I would have love to tell you how good or how bad the product is but unfortunately for me I never use the unit, during the time I was waiting for delivery I had a chat with on of the technician at Dorman concerning the code on my scanner he told me that the code was an error code and all do it was showing for the transmission control module I should not install it, I followed his advice and had the car checked out again and found the real problem so I return the unit to where I was told to send it. I must say a big thanks of appreciation to Dorman and the technician for helping with my decision not to installing and removing a good unit from my car, but I was desperate and the scanner said p062f transmission control module so I figure this is what is needed for the car. Thanks again, Terrie Crichlow.

Dorman 609-00 - Transmission Module

Product was in excellent condition. The whole experience with customer service was outstanding. Everything was as told that I would receive. Would recommend your company to anyone. Prices also were excellent and beat out the competition. I had my mechanic install the unit. It was a lengthily process but none of it had to do with your product. It was the nature of the beast created by the car company.
