The Dodge Stratus was a front-wheel drive mid-size car manufactured by Chrysler across two generations from 1995 through 2006. Having been constructed on Chrysler’s JA platform, it was initially available in four-door sedan body design which lived throughout the model’s production, while a two-door coupe appeared with the start of the second generation in 2000 and was dropped in 2005. The Stratus coupe was not based on the JA platform but took after the Mitsubishi Eclipse. The sedan used a 2.4L I4 engine and its turbocharged version, plus a 2.7L V6.
