Shock Absorber by Daystar®. For those that have added Daystar lift kits under two inches to obtain the most subtle amount of lift, this is a set of replacement shock absorbers designed to match OEM ride quality. Each shock absorber comes with Daystar polyurethane bushings on both ends and protective outer shock sleeve. Limited lifetime warranty.
A 1.5-inch lift kit is the perfect item for those who only need or want a small increase in ride height and do not wish to alter the angle at which drive shafts and axles operate to a large degree. Since this is a minor amount of increase, only minimal modifications are necessary. Daystar offers shock absorbers that match the level of factory ride quality for lifted vehicles. If you’ve raised just the front ride height to offset the downward rake of a newer truck design, this set of shock absorbers is created to deliver the same comfortable progressive shock absorption rate over a larger span of wheel travel to ensure your vehicle ride quality is not overly harsh or bouncy.
Daystar polyurethane bushings are included on both “eye” ends of each shock absorber to provide higher levels of strength and cushioning compared to factory OEM rubber bushings, and a Daystar outer sleeve covers the shock to protect grit and other contaminants from compromising its lifespan.
