DISCOVERER RUGGED TREK Tires (170055007) by COOPER TIRES®. LT265/70R17, Speed Index Q - 99 mph, Max Load 3197 lbs, Tire Weight 52 lbs. Season: All Season. Type: Truck / SUV, All Terrain / Off Road / Mud. The all-new Discoverer Rugged Trek is the ultimate suburban cruiser. It’s an all-season tire featuring an aggressive tread design that delivers excellent traction and comfort for daily commutes and weekend adventures. Don’t be surprised to see other on-road tires shaking in their treads as you roll through your neighborhood with Discoverer Rugged Trek.

Driving your vehicle in cold temperature zones can negatively affect its overall performance. This is especially true for your tires. Cold weather may cause them to be dangerously underinflated. To avoid that, you should change your tires according to the season. Consequently, for the winter months, your car should have winter tires that will provide excellent traction on ice or snow. These have extra rows of sipes, which are small treads within larger tread sections that add extra grip in cold conditions. The rubber these tires are made of is thicker and contains a silica-based compound that maximizes contact with the road. To find the most reliable and durable winter tires for your vehicle, go with us and enjoy comfortable driving in the areas where winter is tough.

Awesome Tires
These tires are amazing. Great looking and the quietest deep tread tires I have ever used. CARiD even mounted and balanced them on a set of wheels I bought for free.

The best tires in my opinion
I went through 3 sets on my old Tacoma 4x4. I had no issues so far. They have held up well and the tread is like brand new. The best tires in my opinion.

They are super quiet
I also have the 285/70/17's on my GMC Sierra. I've had them for 10,000 miles so far and they look like I bought them yesterday. They are super quiet and ride great. They do well off-road too.

Solid Performance in All Conditions
Grip well on dirt roads and handle rain well. No noise on the highway. Ride comfort is high and I feel confident. Very satisfied with their performance.

Great AT Tire
First impressions driving on new coopers - quiet and comfy!! They're semi-aggressive not overly aggressive which is perfect for me. I spend most of time on road but they handle rocky paths really well too!

I have these tires on my Hummer H2, And they are great on ice and snow, They hold the road in the rain like it's not even there, With the windows up you don't notice any road noise from these tires but you can hear a hum with them down. The only bad thing I have found is they grab rocks and throw them, but mud flaps stopped that problem.

Good Value For The Price
I just bought my second set of tires after comparing to several other brands. The decision was easy when I realized that I had been driving the set on my car past the warranty.

So far So Good
Well, I am attempting to find a great tire for the ol Suba. I just received two new ones and they mounted pretty well. I balanced the rim after burring it clean. Then I mounted the tire. (Nice snug fit). Balanced tire with rim and was pretty heavy on one side. But they run smooth even with the bubble balancer! Now to learn how the mileage will go. In addition, I am tough on air pressure. I like to run what is recommended 44 (Cold Max PSI). I will start these out at 42 PSI. I will watch for tire wear for the first week or two and then adjust as needed. Toe in was good and the frontend is tight.
