Clutch Masters Clutches & Flywheels

Clutch Masters, with more than three decades of experience in the industry, combines premium friction materials with the optimal clamping power to create a wide array of clutches that offer reliable performance in demanding environments. To develop high-performance clutches, the company uses a unique system based on the Hi-Leveragetm technology that provides an increase in clamping force without an unnecessary increase in pedal pressure.

Clutch Masters flywheel kits are capable of delivering more transmittable torque and stability, longer service life, and superior thermal resistance than those of many competitors. Clutch Masters clutches are high performance systems that are superior technologically to anything on the market. Their advantages are of great value to high-tuned autos that compete in motorsports and also for towing cargo trailers under heavy load.

A clutch, first and above all, is a friction device, which engages and disengages the engine from the transmission through changing gears. When it comes to street use, smooth power transition is necessary, while still being capable of transferring all of the engine’s power and torque to the transmission. While power output of engines goes up, the clamping and holding capacity of any clutch must increase also, which is the case with high-performance street or race track cars. And this is exactly where high-tech engineering solutions by Clutch Masters come into play.

To create a clutch with all of the performance characteristics needed for many specific applications is a challenge to be taken on by the company that knows how to design clutches for demanding conditions. Increasing holding and clamping pressure almost inevitably increases pedal pressure, resulting in drivability issues, greater load on thrust bearing, and premature damage of clutch components. The experts at Clutch Masters have found a compromise, having introduced discs with reduced Marcel or a solid hub design to complement their innovative Hi-Leveragetm pressure plate, which allows for improving holding / clamping pressure without additional pedal pressure.

Racing Clutch
It's a little difficult to get in first and reverse. Because you have to work with the clutch. But other than that it's a very good clutch. Oh, also the bitting point is higher than normal.
