The length of the Aspen HEV came in at 202.1 inches and its height measured at 73.6 inches.

2009 ushered in several other changes to the Aspen, including a boost to the 5.7L Hemi V8, increasing the output to 376 horsepower and 401 pounds-per-foot of torque. Once again, the base engine was the 4.7L V8 capable of 303 horsepower. Engines were directed through a five-speed automatic transmission. Trim levels included the Limited and Limited HEV (Hybrid). The Limited showcased both two and four-wheel drive, 18" alloy wheels, automatic headlights, foglights, a rear-parking camera, rear-park assist, a power driver's seat, a power tailgate, a tilted steering column, a 40/20/40 reclining second-row and a 60/40 split-folding three-passenger third row, climate control, and a premium eight-speaker audio system with CD and digital music storage capability. A special J Package came with the Hemi V8 engine, heated auto-dimming mirrors, leather upholstery, heated front-seats, automatic climate control, driver-memory functions, Bluetooth, iPod connectivity, navigation, and remote entry/start. Hybrid versions of the Chrysler Aspen featured similar accessories and equipment but added real-time traffic to the navigation system and came with four-wheel drive as standard.
