After a short hiatus the Chevrolet Colorado makes a re-entry to the mid-size pickup truck market in 2015. Fans of this sturdy truck are really glad as the Colorado has always been amongst the top performers in its class. The Colorado's first generation lasted from 2004 until 2012 during which the strongest engine it could be stocked with was a 5.8-liter LH8 V8 matched with a five speed manual or four speed automatic transmission. The second generation offers updates and a re-design but doesn’t mess too much with a winning formula.
If you are having the air conditioning and heating system of your Colorado serviced, then don’t overlook small parts. The A/C Schrader Valve from Dorman is an important part that some people make the mistake of leaving out. This valve allows refrigerant to enter the A/C system from the A/C servicing equipment. Once the servicing is complete, the valve will close tight to keep the refrigerant in the A/C system so cool air will continue flowing through the cabin of the vehicle. It is easy to install and features a reasonable price.
