    Carbon Creations Hood for 2008 Cooper S
    The hood arrived in excellent condition. Had to unpack the outer carton at the freight company as it was huge, though I appreciate the care taken to ensure safe shipping. There is not a blemish on the hood and it fits perfectly. You will need a small drill to attach the plastic clips for the washer fluid hoses, but that was the only thing I didn’t expect. Overall, it is an excellent product that will look great on any Cooper project.

    Fits Well and Looks Nice!
    Definitely one of my favorites to put on! I was looking to replace my OEM and it looks nice you just have to be careful about putting it on. Did come with small issues but barely noticeable!! Make sure that there are two people present to put the hood on!!

    Looks great
    It was packed really well, no scratches or dents when it arrived. The design and look are amazing! It didn't fit perfectly out of the box and needed some adjustments. Once it was on, though, the car looked fantastic!

    Poor Quality
    Most aftermarket "Carbon Fiber" hoods are made mostly from Fiberglass with a thin single layer exterior C.F. skin. This hood is no different. The hood is made from 2 skins, Bottom and Top. The 2 skins are poorly glued together with big blobs of epoxy. The bottom skin is poorly cut out to allow the vents to show through. The meshes are also cut out extremely rough with excessive mesh material sticking out the edges of the vent opening. Lastly, the top skin seams very thin. However, the overall design/shape is very good! and from a glance it, everything looks perfect. But unfortunately im having second thoughts on actually installing it as im afraid it may not last. I may have a body shop properly join the 2 skins and stiffen up the hood.

    Don't Waste Your Money
    For the price this hood is garbage. Looks good from a distance, but up close I lost count of all the imperfections. Heard plenty of bad reviews about carbon creations products, should of listened to the talk. One of the mesh inserts wasn't even completely painted. Hood latch is shallow, clear coat is trashy in many places, list goes on and on. Pay the extra for another brand, trust me.

    Looks Great!
    It fits my 2011 BMW 535i Xdrive. It looks really good, got it to work with factory latches. Great quality!

    Buy Elsewhere like Blackops Carbon Creations
    Looks decent. However for $1200 this must be a joke. Literally a single layer of carbon fiber on top with maybe 2 layers of fiber glass underneath, if that! Very flimsy and arrived busted/cracked in center of hood scoop. Look for $300 I could make my own hood with 2 top layers of carbon fiber and 3 or more fiber glass bottom layers provided I had the mold of the hood. And they're charging 1200 on sale!! That's California for ya!! I should probably just cancel before they send the replacement.

    Well.
    The product was excellent out of the box. I had to make a few adjustments and then it fit perfectly. A week into having it, and only driving the car 2-3 times, the weave and clear coat on front of the hood began to crack. That’s disappointing. The weight is phenomenal, the original look is phenomenal, but the quality is questionable.
