Carbon Creations

F.A.Q.

Carbon Creations wants all customers to know that there will always be some minor sanding, shaving, cutting, and/or filling prior to installing Carbon Creations parts. Also, the black primer finish must be sanded and other prep work will be required prior to painting.

Products are non-refundable if altered in any way. It is recommended that the part should be installed by a professional body shop that has experience in working with aftermarket fiberglass and urethane body kits including but not limited to sanding, shaving, cutting, and filling.

INSTALLATION QUESTIONS

Does Carbon Creations guarantee fitment?

Because there is much involved in the installation process that is beyond their control, Carbon Creations can’t guarantee perfect fitment. However, they do guarantee your satisfaction with their products.

Why does my kit not fit perfectly?

There are many possibilities for why products do not fit perfectly. Although Carbon Creations manufactures all their products to the closest OEM standards possible, they are handmade and minor differences can occur. The condition of the vehicle, heat, poor installation, etc. are all reasons why perfect installation can’t be guaranteed. Carbon Creations does guarantee that you will be satisfied with their products.

Do I need to remove the reinforcement bar?

Removal of the reinforcement bar may be required to install certain products, but in some cases trimming may be needed for product fitment.

Do your kits come with hardware and instructions?

Some kits come with instructions and hardware. However, Carbon Creations recommends installation by a body shop with experience in installing body kits.

Is it hard to install these products?

Installation is not difficult for a body man with experience in installing body kits. Carbon Creations recommends professional installation.

What kind of body shop should I choose to install my body kit?

Installing aftermarket body kits is a specialized area of auto body expertise and Carbon Creations recommends going to a body shop with body kit installation experience. Even a body shop with many years of collision work experience would not be recommended if they had no experience with aftermarket body kits.
