CalTrend® - DuraPlus Custom Seat Covers

Two years and many replacements later...as noted in the other review, the seat cover bottom pieces slide. Every time you get into the car. The construction of the connecting pieces is poor resulting in ripped seams or broken buckles when you try to place the sliding bottom seat cover back into place. It would be unlikely that I'd recommend these seat covers.

After a wait so long that CARiD gave me a gift card, the fitment is crap. For the price that was paid, I expected better from them; I could've gotten this from O'Reilly's for $50.

The material seems fine, but these were a nightmare to install. First, the side hooks, shown in the photo, do not attach to anything obvious. There’s no way someone’s fingers could reach anything for it to latch to in between the the cushion and the plastic. Second, it is extremely difficult to line up the cutouts with the latch attachments. I had to redo the fit several times. Third, the clips are in the front of the seat bottom, requiring you to really finesse things to attach the clips. Luckily my arms are long enough that i could reach all the way around the seat to do this. The clips should be in the back. Fourth, the plastic clips on the straps slip out when you tighten them. Fifth, the instructions are very unhelpful. I would’ve had as good an idea of what to do if I had not even read them. Lastly, the fit isn’t great. There are cuts that really should be curved to better fit the seat contours, but they are simply cut straight across. This is ok, because we are just installing car seats on top, but I wouldn’t want to actually sit on these.

I just installed my new CalTrend seat covers and I must say it was a breeze to install. They look so good I can hardly believe they are seat covers, the fit is truly custom. My first set of seat covers were from WeatherTech, which turned out to be worthless and did not come close to any kind of fit. I like the way the CalTrend look on my truck that I am considering for my car which I think already look great. I highly recommend the CalTrend seat covers.

I bought the black covers for my 2021 Hyundai Kona's front bucket seats and they fit like a glove. Each seat cover has three parts: the bottom cover, the back cover, and the headrest. The fabric is tight to the seat and many hooks and buckles keep it from shifting or moving. Loose ends tuck into plastic so it looks almost like factory upholstery when fully on. The fabric is very course canvas, much rougher than the original seat fabric, but it is not uncomfortable and feels very sturdy and strong. Like a good pair of Dickies, only a little coarser. The covers fully conceal the original seat, even the back of the seat (for those with kids who like to kick the seat, your seats are now safe from scuffs and footprints) providing a new fabric pouch for your maps or jerky or whatever else people tuck behind a seat (by the way, this fabric on the back of the seat turns from the canvas in the front to a soft almost t-shirt feel). It even has slots for the seat's airbags to deploy. The only Velcro on the covers is on the headrest, however it is very strong and I don't anticipate it coming undone anytime soon. All in all, I am extremely pleased with these covers and expect them to keep my seats in mint condition for a while to come.

Looked a loads and loads. Ordered from another company for my F150.... constant adjustments and a pain. Ordered the CARiD set for my F350 and am thoroughly pleased! 4 months and no adjustments... great fit, easy install... now I'm gonna order a set for my F150, too.

The covers are great! Front seat console cover was not the best fit. Hard work to install but well worth the effort.

The reason for the 3 for installation was the head rests took two of us to install them. I think they could be just a bit more flexible.

I was fortunate enough to have my seats out of my 2007 F150 XL already because plan A was to replace them altogether until I saw the price of total replacement. I am so glad I went with plan B. I have never dealt with or bought seat covers before but after seeing the videos of installation and seeing the price, had to try them. I was worried about fit and wrinkles and workmanship but found that these covers were excellent! Easy installation, even perfect color...material better than i expected...and was really impressed by the call i received to go over my order entirely before production. Thanks. Mike Morrison.

First off please note my review applies only to my experience with my 2017 Ford Explorer installed in the 2nd row. These seat covers look great and fit like a glove! I was hesitant to install seat covers on leather as the leather requires regular conditioning to stay soft. I was also hesitant to not install seat covers as I have a 5 YO and we beach, camp, etc. on a regular basis. These were a superb fit and clean easy. Not as comfortable as the bare leather but considering the durability of the fabric it wasn't bad. I rarely had passengers in the back so my primary concern was my daughter walking across the seats to get to her booster in the middle. They also provided a barrier between the car seat and the leather. I've had them for nine months now and after a vacuum and quick wipe with a damp microfiber towel they look brand new! Installation took about 30 minutes and I walked away with only minor cuts and bruises. I imagine if I was more careful and did it during daylight hours I would have fared better :-)
