With the Cadillac XT6 introduced for the 2020 model year, the luxury automaker entered the three-row crossover SUV game. It offers ample room and plenty of stylish Cadillac XT6 accessories inside, sleek and attractive looks outside, and reliable power under the hood. The newbie shares the platform with the Chevrolet Traverse yet has many remodeled parts, which makes it look pretty much like a version of the GMC Acadia Denali. The first look at the all-new XT6 reveals the company’s attempt at making it instantly recognizable as a Cadillac while adding a modern, sporty touch. The vehicle slots between the muscular XT5 and the boxy Escalade.
Externally, some of the Cadillac XT6 parts like athletic fenders and big exhaust pipes provide an aggressive look, while others, like a mesh grille and simple door panels, bring just the right amount of elegance. The new SUV is available in two trims that differ in some exterior accessories and interior detailing. Thus, the Premium Luxury model comes with a Galvano finish on a grille, window molding, roof rails, and other exterior parts, while the Sport version has a black painted grille and high gloss accents. The XT6 Premium Luxury runs on 20-inch 6-split-spoke Polished and Android finish wheels and has an exotic wood trim inside the cabin. The Sport version sits on the wheels of the same diameter, but with 12 spokes and a Pearl Nickel finish. Inside, it has carbon fiber trim throughout the cabin. Both XT6 models are powered by a 310 HP 3.6 L V6 engine teamed with a nine-speed automatic.
