The GS 455 appeared in 1970 and was equipped with a 7.4L V8 rated for 350 horsepower. In addition to the base 455 model, since 1970, the automobile was also available in high-performance configuration, the Gran Sport GSX/ GSX Stage 1 outfitted with an agile 400 hp power unit.
