On some vehicles, the rear brake calipers are also used for the parking brakes. When upgrading to a Brembo brake kit, this functionality is lost. This mechanical caliper kit will let you retain your parking brakes when you install a Brembo brake kit. It comes with mounting brackets that position the parking brake calipers in a different location over the rear brake discs. The single piston aluminum calipers are completely mechanical and not part of the hydraulic brake system. Brembo warrants to the original user that this parking brake kit is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase.
