The first BMW 3-Series was presented to the public in July 1975 at the Olympic Stadium in Munich, Germany. This vehicle was developed as a replacement for the aging 02-Series and in its first generation offered only two-door body styles. The front fascia features a distinctive corporate kidney grille. The body shape is inspired by the E12 BMW. Overall, this automobile was accepted positively by the public, as it was distinctive and featured a high rear end. The vehicle’s suspension featured MacPherson struts and rack and pinion steering in front, while the rear suspension was independent.

The condition of the road surface influences the condition of your vehicle’s suspension, so from time to time shocks and struts get worn out and require replacement. On our digital shelves you will find OE-style shocks, struts, spring seats, control arms and pitman arms, strut bellows and mount components, strut cushions and much more! Just look through our catalog of BMW 3-Series shocks & struts and order the components you need to restore a smooth drive of your German automobile. We carry parts by KYB and Gabriel, First Equipment Quality and Bilstein, and other reputable brands.
