BedRug® BMQ99TG - Tailgate Mat

Much like the BedRug, the BedRug Tailgate Mat will give you the look and feel of carpet in an ultra-tough 100% polypropylene (essentially plastic) product. It will protect your tailgate while standing up to whatever you can throw at it: from mulch to bleach. The BedRug Tailgate Mat material is fade and UV resistant. Made of foam similar to that used in life jackets, it doesn't absorb water and will not mold or mildew.

A vacuum, broom, brush or compressed air can be used to remove dirt, grime, sand, mulch etc. Because water will not harm the BedRug, pressure washing is also an effective way to clean a soiled BedRug. Although most acids will not harm the BedRug, baking soda should be applied immediately to neutralize the acid to ensure the safety of the paint on the vehicle. To clean tougher jobs such as gasoline, oil, chemicals, acid spills or leaks from your BedRug use detergent soap with degreaser and water, then rinse thoroughly. This detergent soap is used in most car wash locations with pressure washing equipment. The BedRug polypropylene closed-cell foam will not absorb water and the polypropylene fiber dries in minutes.
