The BedRug is the most unique and innovative truck bed liner on the market. Despite the plush appearance, the BedRug is NOT carpet but rather 100% polypropylene (basically plastic), making it rugged enough to stand up to any punishment you put it through and at the same time, it's gentle enough to protect your most precious cargo. From gravel and cinder blocks one day to antiques and camping equipment the next, the BedRug handles it all.
Drop-in plastic liners certainly offer impact resistance however they have many inherent limitations you should be aware of. For starters, they require drilling holes in the bed to properly secure the liner to your truck. You saw the stray bedliners laying in the median of the interstate, a consequence of not securing the liner properly. In addition, plastic liners shift and vibrate over time causing scuffs and abrasions to your truck bed finish. The BedRug uses closed-cell foam which is non-abrasive and will not scratch the finish of your truck and installation is done without drilling holes. Put simply, the BedRug can be used for years and when removed, your bed looks like it did the day you bought the truck. Of course there is also the issue of skid resistance. Most drop-in liners offer little to no skid protection. Hit the gas pedal and your cargo goes crashing toward your tailgate. Hit the brake and it slides forward toward the cab. The BedRug grips your cargo and holds it in place. Drop-in liners are not only rough on your cargo but they are also rough on your knees when climbing in to access your cargo. The BedRug offers 3/4" of foam padding to provide you with a loading surface that is simply unmatched by any other liner.
Spray-in liners have become very popular as an alternative to the drop-in style liners. While a spray-in liner won't scuff your bed with day to day use the way a plastic liner does, the entire bed finish of the truck must be scuffed with a sanding wheel or an etching solvent applied in order for the spray liner to adhere to the bed. That's right; you are actually destroying the paint finish your "liner" is intended to "protect". In some cases, this process will void the factory paint and corrosion protection. In addition, spray-in liners must be applied by a technician and therefore the quality of the job will vary from shop to shop. Let us not overlook the final and most important point which is that a spray-in liner does nothing to protect the bed of your truck leaving your bed susceptible to dents, scratches, chips, fading and oxidizing leaving a permanent reminder of the lack of overall bed protection.
Under use, hard bedliners vibrate against the paint they're supposed to protect, actually scuffing it and ruining the paint's shiny, rich finish. The BedRug lifestyle liner, however, is backed by a nonabrasive foam, which will not abrade the paint. Your truck bed will always look as good as the day you bought it! The BedRug lifestyle liner is designed to protect your valuable cargo, like sports equipment and camping gear, too - not just your truck.
No. Many truck owners choose to have their BedRug installed by a local dealer but the BedRug is easy for one person to install in less than an hour, using only basic hand tools and isopropyl alcohol.

You can buy the BedRug with confidence, because it carries a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
The BedRug can take on gravel, mulch, building materials - even battery acid - without any bad effects.
Much like a life vest, BedRug's closed-cell polymer construction can't hold water - it runs right off. The paint in the bed of your truck is designed to shed water the same way the rest of the paint on your vehicle does. The BedRug works in conjunction with your factory drain holes to remove any residual moisture. Unlike spray-in liners which scuff the paint before application and drop-in liners that can scuff and scratch the bed with use, the BedRug's non-abrasive backing will not compromise the integrity of your paint and in turn will not cause your truck bed to rust.
As funny as it sounds, some people do get mighty attached to their BedRug. Because BedRug no- drill installation, the BedRug is easily removed and you can take it with you, providing you're taking it to the same model of truck. The difference is that polyethylene is susceptible to shrinking when exposed to UV and exterior elements. Secondly and most importantly is the installation. The BedRug Mat installs without damage to your truck bed. Standard installation of other foam mats requires drilling into the truck bed to permanently install snaps. Lastly is the design. TrailerWare is the most unique and innovative trailer liner on the market today. TrailerWare is the only product on the market designed to protect your trailer and your cargo while keeping the inside of your trailer looking sleek and stylish. Don't be fooled by the plush appearance, TrailerWare may look and feel like carpet but it is actually made of closed-cell polypropylene (essentially plastic) foam making it rugged enough to stand up to any punishment you put it through and at the same time, it's gentle enough to protect your most precious cargo. From oil and battery acid, to car door dings and scratches TrailerWare handles it all.
There are a number of different reasons TrailerWare is a great addition to your trailer. Whether you are trying to protect that high-dollar racecar or custom hotrod, keep your motorcycle safe on those long hauls, clean up the look of your tired and worn trailer interior, or protect your brand new trailer from wear and tear, TrailerWare is the solution for you.
Indoor/Outdoor carpet can provide a clean look to a trailer but that is where the benefit ends. Unlike carpet, TrailerWare is not susceptible to mold or mildew and will not stain from moisture or chemicals. TrailerWare also offers the cushion of 1/4" of closed-cell foam to protect your cargo like no other. The carpet-like fibers of the TrailerWare material are non-abrasive and will not harm the paint or finish of your most precious cargo.
BedRug standard TrailerWare kit includes enough material to cover the side walls of your trailer. BedRug premium kit includes material for the sidewalls, front bulkhead, beavertail and wheel wells.
Although BedRug pre-designed applications cover trailers up to 32 ft., BedRug can quickly design a kit for your specific needs and length requirements.
BedRug pre-designed kits include enough material for either a flat or V-nose trailer. Rest assured that BedRug have taken all of the guess work out of the equation for you.
The simple answer is yes. TrailerWare is fully customizable and can be trimmed to fit around existing cabinets and storage already installed in your trailer. Because standard trailer cabinets are 36" high the 48" TrailerWare material actually creates a custom 12" backsplash.
A beavertail references the back four feet of a trailer in which there is a gradual slope in the floor to assist with the loading and unloading of wheeled cargo. Most race trailers are equipped with a beavertail while standard cargo trailers generally have a flat floor. To check if your trailer is equipped with a beavertail, measure from floor to the ceiling at both the front and back of your trailer. If these measurements are different you have a beavertail and a small piece of TrailerWare material can be spiced into this area for a nice continuous look all the way to the floor. Simply measure and cut triangular pieces and apply adhesive to both the wall and backing and press into place. Remember to match the material grain to the wall for a seamless appearance.
TrailerWare is designed to work best with trailers that are outfitted with 1/4" interior trim. Some trailers are equipped with 1/8" trim as opposed to 1/4". For the best possible fitment, it is recommended that you use extrusion rails on the vertical portion of the side entry door if your trailer has 1/8" interior trim.
You would need kit number 8010140 which is made for 10-14 ft trailers. This is the smallest TrailerWare kit BedRug offer. While designed to fit 10-14 foot trailers, this kit will work for any size trailer under 14 feet.
Yes - absolutely! TrailerWare is designed for the weekend do-it-yourselfer and can be installed with basic tools found around most garages. Installation time can vary depending on the specific options of your trailer but as a rule of thumb most 10'-14' trailers take 2 hours and most 24'-32' trailers take 3-4 hours. A second set of hands to hang the 8' aluminum extrusion rails would certainly be helpful and speed things up a bit as well.Under use, hard bedliners vibrate against the paint they're supposed to protect, actually scuffing it and ruining the paint's shiny, rich finish. The BedRug lifestyle liner, however, is backed by a non-abrasive foam, which will not abrade the paint. Your truck bed will always look as good as the day you bought it! The BedRug lifestyle liner is designed to protect your valuable cargo, like sports equipment and camping gear, too - not just your truck.
TrailerWare needs just a few basic tools to be installed properly. Here is a list of the tools you will need. o Chalk Line o Drill o Tape measure o Phillips bits o Utility knife o Pencil o Hacksaw or Chop saw with metal blade.
Once the adhesive is applied to both surfaces you have 5-7 minutes to smooth out wrinkles and air pockets before the adhesive starts to set up. Under use, hard bedliners vibrate against the paint they're supposed to protect, actually scuffing it and ruining the paint's shiny, rich finish.
The preferred method of cleaning TrailerWare is to wash it out with a garden hose or pressure washer, not letting water get behind the aluminum rail. Remember, the foam is closed cell so it will not absorb water and will not allow it to penetrate through to the backside! The TrailerWare can also be vacuumed like carpet if you choose. For stubborn messes don't be afraid to use a light detergent and scrub brush for a deep clean.
BedRug® is well known throughout the aftermarket, a name synonymous with high quality and innovation. Located in Old Hickory, Tennessee, BedRug got its start as a manufacturer of TPO foam (Thermoplastic PolyOlefin) composites. TPO foams offer a broad range of performance attributes, ranging from softness and flexibility to thermal stability - it is a closed cell construction, which will not absorb moisture, and is similar to the foam used in life jackets. It can be fabricated into a variety of parts that are suitable for exterior applications. Most importantly, it can be laminated to other substrates - and in BedRug's case, those additional materials include 100% polypropylene plastic non-woven "carpet" and the TPO composite that creates BedTred. BedRug is environmentally safe - BedRug products are manufactured from a recyclable TPO/polypropylene composite. All unusable polypropylene materials are recycled into pellets and used in a wide variety of consumer goods. In addition, BedRug products do not contain any prohibited or declarable substances on the Global Automotive Declarable Substance List (GADSL). BedRug was purchased by THI Corp. in 2009.
