BAK Tonneau Covers

Founded by two brothers in 1989, BAK Industries exploded onto the Southern California custom truck scene with bed liners that protected truck beds from damage under hard use, and looked so stylish that light truck enthusiasts saw them as a way to customize their vehicles above and beyond the norm. The founders believed that truck accessories could be highly functional while maintaining form, and BAK Industries holds that belief true today.

On our website, you will find various BAK tonneau covers, including the RollBak G2 Retractable Tonneau Cover. A soft vinyl cover is fitted over a strong aluminum slat skeleton featuring slats with the ability to support 400 pounds along the top. The RollBak Retractable Tonneau Covers are mounted inside the bed, leaving edge sections and stake pockets unencumbered for use with racks, rails, etc. The BakFlip Folding Tonneau Cover is laminated with an aluminum or fiberglass surface that is impact-resistant and folds up section by section as it's opened. All BAK truck bed covers are made in the USA.

For those that need a toolbox and a tonneau cover, it is virtually impossible to integrate these two separate items in your bed area. Looseness, flapping, and moisture leakage are common due to an improper cover fit over tool boxes, and the thrown-together look that says 'amateur.' To offer a solution for customers that do need both a cover and toolbox, BAK made its best and created the BakBox RS Folding Toolbox. A stylish, locking toolbox features a built-in area for the tonneau cover to roll into cleanly and out of sight. Then, should you need the full bed area for hauling, the toolbox itself folds up and out of the way.

The Folding Tonneau Cover with Rack System includes the BakFlip tonneau cover and Truck Bed Racks which can be installed and removed easily from your truck’s OE stake pockets. How does it work? The racks slide onto specially designed rails that accommodate the BakFlip tonneau cover as well as the rack uprights. Low profile tracks look inconspicuous when not in use, and few will realize they’re not from the factory. Aluminum construction is strong yet lightweight. BAK bed covers are made using cutting-edge designs, high-end materials, and a look and feel that exemplify a quality cover on your truck bed.

BAK® offers bed rail protectors that lie flat and snug with a perfect moisture-proof seal that serves as the mounting surface for anything you need – saving your vulnerable painted bed rails from damage. Because they secure flush with the best 3M adhesive tape, they won’t rub or vibrate to create noise or paint damage. Bed rail protectors are also designed for snugging down one-piece bed liner tubs with edges that have become warped, uneven, or that never fit flush in the first place. They’re 100% resistant to ultraviolet fading and can be easily painted to match the color code of your vehicle.

When you need stylish running boards that are designed to last, BAK® comes through the wall with breakthrough products. Aluminum frame running boards are wrapped with scratch- and impact-resistant black plastic, and secured in place by corrosion-free stainless steel brackets. While the black plastic finish will match the grade and look of most similarly finished door handles and trim, the boards are paintable should you decide to have them color matched to your vehicle’s body. The boards are built with capacity for lighting that activates when doors are opened, and are load rated to support 500 pounds on each side.
