The Audi A1 is the German automaker’s entry-level car that offers luxury, technology, and sleek styling in a compact package. Despite being the smallest and least expensive model from Audi, it is built to the same high standards as the brand’s bigger vehicles. Audi took the wraps off its subcompact at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. Germany and the United Kingdom were the first markets to receive this tiny hatch, perfectly sized for European roads and traffic. Available solely as a three-door hatchback at launch, the A1 added a five-door version (Sportback) a year after its debut. A range of small-displacement turbo four-cylinder engines matched its lightweight, sporty design. Gasoline and diesel units were available, putting out from 86 to 122 horsepower. Geared toward young urban buyers, this car is agile and easy to drive around jam-packed city streets, all while being easily customizable. We carry all Audi A1 accessories and parts you need to dress up your hatch, make it faster and more dynamic, and keep it in mint condition for years to come.
The Audi A1 lineup got a mid-cycle refresh in 2015 that included interior and exterior updates, new trim levels, and revised engine choices. Remodeled bumpers and lights along with some accessories borrowed from the S1 brought a new, sportier look to the front and rear fascias. The engine lineup comprised four gasoline and two diesel units, many of which received power-increasing parts. At the lower end of the gas engine spectrum, there was a 1.0-liter three-cylinder good for 94 hp, while the most powerful top-level 1.8-liter TFSI churned out as many as 189 horses. The motors could be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed S Tronic dual-clutch gearbox.
The second generation of the Audi A1 was introduced for the 2019 model year and expanded to more markets including Mexico. The three-door model was dropped, leaving only the five-door A1 Sportback. Diesels were discontinued as well; turbo gasoline engines now range from a 1.0-liter 95-hp I3 to a 2.0-liter 200-hp I4. The range-topping 40 TFSI engine is paired exclusively with a 6-speed S Tronic dual-clutch automatic and attains a 150 mph top speed. The new-gen A1 Sportback became longer and now offers more legroom for occupants and more space for cargo. Interior quality is where the A1 hatch excels. The cabin design is modern and offers the same upscale feel and excellent ergonomics as other vehicles from Audi. The Virtual Cockpit digital display is standard, as is an 8.8-inch touchscreen for the MMI infotainment. As an outstanding car for the urban lifestyle, the A1 is nimble, comfortable, and has a cutesy feel to it. It can be a premium hatch or a hot hatch, and whatever side of its personality you want to accent, our Audi A1 parts and accessories will do the job.
