If you're a happy owner of a large truck, Jeep or SUV, which was born for off-roading, these ground-breaking ARIES ActionTrac™ powered running boards are a must-have upgrade. Provide safe and convenient access to your rig, while adding a uniquely contoured look. The boards feature an innovative Step-Within-a-Step™ design that offers safer and easier entry and exit from your rig. As soon as you open the door, the smart sensors automatically deploy the power step, offering a wide and non-skid textured black powder coated surface. When the door closes again, the power step retracts to be safely concealed within the housing.

The smart sensors of ActionTrac™ lifted truck steps automatically detect any obstructions during operation. This eliminates pinch hazards and avoids damage to the steps out on the trails. The sensors are also set with a two-second delay to avoid retracting the power step too quickly after the door closes. For added visibility and safety, each set of power running boards is equipped with integrated LED lights that illuminate the power side steps upon opening. The boards are operated with a single rotary motor sealed within the main housing that helps protect it from the elements. Another unique advantage of ActionTrac™ running boards is their ease of installation. Each set of these power running boards is designed for vehicle-specific application, and they mount using pre-existing holes in your rig.

Good Boards But Sporadic Functioning Triggers
These are really neat boards and work well, when working. The door triggers (magnet sensors) work somewhat sporadically. About 25% of the time, one can get stuck in the open or down position. When this happens, you have to reset the brain module by flipping a switch you install in the dash, however, not all the time does that reset it. Sometimes you will stand there outside of your car flipping that switch a few times until is resets and pulls back up. I've talked to the manufacturer a few times now, and I've replaced the sensors a few times, but really what it comes down to is the sensors are not the most optimal. They need a redesigned trigger or something that isn't so flakey. I'm getting a new set of triggers and will try one more time, but for the money paid, you should not be having this issue as often as I do, if not at all. I'm a little bummed, as I really like them, but we shall see. Others purchasing this product need to be aware of this issue, and the more that Aries is aware, maybe they will implement a better solution.

Good Quality
Really happy with these boards now that they're on. They look great and retract smoothly. My wife and kids can get into the truck so much easier now.

Very convenient
These steps are a great upgrade, they look great and make it so much easier to get in, especially for my wife and kids. Perfect for my lifted 16 Silverado 1500. The sensors work flawlessly.

Perfect
First of all they came very quickly. Very high quality. Bought these because climbing into our 2500 Silverado was a chore for my wife. Now she has no problems. Installation is a little challenging. If your not mechanical you may want to have them installed. Overall though they are great and I definitely recommend them.

Best Step I have Taken
These running boards are incredible! My GF has issues getting into my lifted oversized tire Tacoma, and after these went on she has no problem getting into the beast. It's the best looking running board you will ever find. The originals are paper thin tubes, these are solid as a rock heavy machined aluminum, one fits inside the other when they are retracted, very strong. I highly recommend these on any truck!

Great Boards
Nice addition for lifted trucks like mine! I really like the step-within-a-step design, makes getting in and out so much easier. The lights come on when you open the door, nice for night time. Overall, really happy with this upgrade!

09 Toyota Highlander Hybrid
After watching your instal video, I felt confident about installing myself.. it took me a few hours but I got it installed!! Looks great!! My mom was excited and pleased on how much easier it was to get in her vehicle.. thank you for a product that is practical and DIY install friendly.
