AP 40006
Just had the new AP muffler installed. Looks identical to the old muffler. Definitely sounds better. Seems a little loud. Not too bad. Would have liked it to be a little quieter. The old muffler was in bad shape and leaking and very loud. Good budget muffler for a little over $100.00 with shipping. Don’t know how long it will last, hopefully at least a few years.

Worked Great until after the Warranty Is Up and Then It Starts to Rattle
I don't know if it was just mine, but the muffler started to rattle after the warranty was up so CARiD's customer support can't help me anymore.

Good Fit
Perfect fit. The main reason I decided to change my stock muffler because it had completely rusted. The product that I had received from CARiD was fully the same as advertised. And the sound was also not so annoying as it could be from the muffler, a little mess was made by me in the garage but it was bearable, though the work had been done without titanic effort.

I Wasn't Expecting all That !!!!
I pulled them out of the box and they looked just like a flowmaster to me . I have a stock 87 mustang lx 5.0 with stock exhaust up until today .. the mufflers were junk .. so i put these mufflers on with new lx tailpipes and i cant tell their any louder than the factory mufflers . Not at all what i was expecting but its exactly what i wanted .. btw the car does have the factory headers and all 4 converters on it . Im trying to keep it as oem as i can afford !!!!!
