AMP Research® 74607-01A - BedXTender HD™ Latch Kit

All AMP Research bed extenders are equipped with two hold-down straps that secure the cage in place over your tailgate once it is in the open position. Each hold-down strap features a buckle at the end that these plastic barrels mount to. The barrels click into place on the sides of your tailgate in the openings used to secure the tailgate when it is in the closed position. Should your original barrels become damaged by loading cargo into your bed or by heavy items that slid over the straps when the cage was inside your truck, AMP Research offers a set of replacement pieces.

This kit comes with two replacement urethane barrel pieces, two T20 torx head stainless steel screws, and two grommet pieces – all of which are identical to original equipment found on all Bed XTenders. Urethane and stainless steel construction both provide strength and resistance to corrosion, even after being exposed to oil-based contaminants, UV rays, acid rain, and extreme temperatures. AMP Research builds all components in the United States and backs them with a 3-year / 36,000 mile warranty against failure due to manufacturing defects.
