During his time as a motocross bike racer, the company's founder Horst Leitner pioneered 4-stroke engines, chain torque eliminators, and suspension advancements for motorcycles. Now the company continued to produce mountain bikes with advanced suspensions.

AMP Research PowerStep running boards extend outward automatically when doors are opened, then retract neatly out of sight underneath your vehicle upon closing. Choose the Max Bed Extender if you need the largest amount of contained space, the Sport Extender if you need full integration with tonneau covers, or the Moto Bed Extender with a tapered cage shape created specifically for motorcycle hauling. Replacement “Quick Latch” mounting brackets and latch pegs for hold-down straps are available, and custom L-shaped secondary brackets are offered to offset pickup bed walls that have irregular indentations or pockets.

Rear step pads do not require the use of a trailer hitch, ensuring your vehicle can still be fully used for trailer towing, bike rack placement, or rear cargo carrying trays. Each pad can support 300 pounds and features a wide, grippy composite stepping surface large enough for two full-size work boots. For dually wheel pickups with wider rear wheel fenders that can be a hindrance while using the side steps, a mounting bracket kit is available.
