The Giulia by Alfa Romeo, internally referred to as the Type 105, is a sports sedan unveiled by the Italian carmaker in 1962. This model became the first attempt at putting a powerful engine into a lightweight vehicle for mass production in the history of the brand. The Giulia featured rear-wheel drive and was powered by a 1.3 or 1.6 L inline-4 gasoline twin cam engine, mated to a four- or five-speed classic manual gearbox. As an option, there was a diesel version available with a 1.8 L inline-four. The weight of the Giulia was a little over 2.200 lb, and the acceleration from zero to 60 mph took around 10 seconds, which is rather impressive for the series model of the early sixties.
The Giulia was discontinued by Alfa Romeo back in 1978 in favor of the Giulietta, that is why today it might be quite challenging to get high quality components for this model, especially when it comes to suspension. If that is the case and your Italian sedan requires new sway bars, shocks & struts or control arms, we’ve got you covered! Take a look at our online catalog of Alfa Romeo Giulia suspension parts, and you will be impressed with a wide choice and top-notch quality of the components by leading brands. We carry Giulia parts by MOOG, Centric Parts, Bilstein, ACDelco, etc.
