Product Details

AF-2 Style Front Bumper Lip Splitter by Aero Function®. This bumper lip splitter is a replacement piece that provides a visual upgrade with aggressive styling. Advanced materials and design provide light weight and high strength that will maintain integrity over many years and miles. Bumper comes ready to paint in gray primer and installs easily using existing factory mounting points and hardware. A very strong and lightweight fibre-reinforced polymer which contains woven strands of carbon fibre. Special chemical polymer is made to ensure the optimal combination of flexibility, durability and weight savings. All Aero Function Carbon Fibre Plastic parts come standard with seven layers of UV-inhibiting automotive and marine grade clear coat to ensure the beauty of our parts lasting many years.

A strong, lightweight and robust material made of milled and cross-woven fibres. Through this proprietary process this material results in excellent flexibility and durability. Our Glass Fibre Komposite products come standard with a double-layered signature gray primer to ensure the preparation process is minimized while providing a superior finish when completed.

Warranty

All body kits and products sold by Aero Function are aftermarket products and are intended for off-road or show use only. The brand is not liable for any damages or injury as a result of the use of its products. Due to the material and processes used in production, products will not be a “direct bolt-on.” Aero Function products may need prepping, sanding, shaving, filling gaps, and/or other body work. Modifications may include removal of the reinforcement bars, bumpers, turn signals, and other safety equipment on the vehicle. Aero Function highly recommends that a professional “custom” shop with fiberglass body kit experience perform the installation. Auto shops experienced in OEM installations may not be experienced in aftermarket fiberglass installations. All products sold by Aero Function are for off-road and show purposes only. Due to strict regulations by the Department of Transportation, some of these products are not approved for street/highway use. The brand does not recommend, and in fact discourages, these parts to be used on public streets and highways.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Aero Function warrants its branded products to be free from manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials when used for their intended purposes. This limited warranty shall extend for a period of three (3) years on all Aero Function products. This warranty is non-transferable. Any part of a Aero Function product that is covered by this warranty and that is found in reasonable judgment to be defective in materials or workmanship will be replaced in full at the request of the customer. For example, Aero Function will not replace a complete body kit if a single component is found to be defective. The following situations are not covered by warranty: Any Aero Function product that has been subject to misuse, neglect, accident; or that has been improperly installed. Any Aero Function product that has been modified or altered from its original manufactured state.

Hood and Trunk Fitment Guarantee

Aero Function stands behind the fitment of its products. Once your hood is installed, Aero Function will fully replace your hood if it does not fall within the following guidelines of the brand’s Fitment Guarantee. Hood does not clear a stock engine. Gaps between the hood and the fenders are more than 1/2″ wide on each side. Hood levels more than 3/8″ higher or lower than the fenders. Latch is too long or too short compared to the stock latch, causing the hood not to latch after adjusting. Aero Function does not guarantee fitment on vehicles that have been involved in accidents and/or have had body damages or customization. Hood pins are required.

Trunks

Gaps between the trunk and the rear fenders are more than 1/2″ wide on each side. Trunk levels more than 3/8″ higher or lower than the rear fenders. Aero Function does not guarantee fitment on vehicles that have been in involved in accidents and/or had body damages or customization.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) Learn More
