Adhesives & Sealants

When you see the words “assembly line” and “auto plant”, you imagine welding machines, rivets, screws and bolts that fasten parts of a vehicle together. You would be surprised having found out that most modern automakers use glues, adhesives, and sealants to bond parts together. It goes without saying that these adhesives differ from the glue you find in your kid's school bag or the glue used to assemble plastic models.

Automotive structural adhesives and sealants are advanced composite materials designed to bond to any surface, they resist different temperature levels or even temperature extremes. Using these chemicals in car manufacturing or for DIY repair doesn’t imply inferiority. These adhesives have many advantages over conventional ways to fastening car parts together. They create the bond that is stronger than the bonded materials are, helping you build a more efficient, lighter vehicle. The adhesives we offer are irreplaceable when you need to bond carbon composites as it is impossible to weld carbon fiber parts together.

A sealant is a chemical agent employed for blocking the passage of liquids through surfaces, openings, or joints. Scrolling through our sealant range, you will find a great deal of epoxy sealants, both one- and two-part, that will be very helpful while working with various materials, and not only in the automotive field. You may use them in building or for work with ceramics or other brittle materials, and be certain our sealants are tough and durable. We carry silicone-based adhesives and sealants which are excellent when you need to preserve flexibility of the parts you bond or insulate without losing their strength.

Silicone-based adhesives and sealants allow you to bond together parts made of different materials, and possess an outstanding performance exceeding other materials in durability, water, chemical, and temperature extremes resistance. In addition to quality adhesives and sealants, our online store offers the finest selection of glues, super glues, epoxies, and even convenient repair kits good for repairing metal and plastic tanks, automotive windshields, etc. In a category named “Other”, you will find such products as muffler and tailpipe bandages, weatherstrip cements, liquid metal fillers, and more.

Not that great. I was sent a dried out one and couldn't get it out at all. It got all over my counter tops and myself.

I had to seal one of my headlights which were pretty old (they were factory installed). I was advised to buy this headlight sealing silicone, which did a great job, so now I will keep my original headlights. But if I decide to add halos to my headlights, I'll be able to use this silicone again. I am glad with this purchase and can recommend it for the lights sealing.
