Virtually unchanged since 2011, the Toyota Highlander gets a much more modern look and all up-to-date safety and entertainment technologies as it enters its fourth generation this year. With a great number of reworked parts under the metal and newly-designed 2020 Toyota Highlander accessories inside and out, the automaker’s best-selling crossover SUV is claimed to be quieter, smoother, and more agile than the outgoing version. Just like before, this three-row midsize crossover offers customers the choice between a V6-powered model and a hybrid one. Whatever model you choose, you’ll get a reliable, spacious, and comfortable crossover consisting of 2020 Toyota Highlander parts and accessories which are designed to the highest industry standards.
The 2020 SUV sits on a new, more durable platform. Compared to its predecessor, it is 2.3 inches longer and offers even more cargo area. On the outside, the vehicle hasn’t got any revolutionary changes, yet it still looks different with a revised grille and other exterior parts. Known for its rugged and hearty styling, the model enters its new generation with a revised body that features smoother lines and curves. Inside, the tiniest 2020 Toyota Highlander accessories are professionally crafted for maximum utility and comfort. This model is one of the first Toyota vehicles to offer standard Android Auto compatibility. Besides, it has Waze integration, Amazon Alexa compatibility, etc. In terms of safety features, the newcomer got the automaker’s latest Safety Sense 2.0 suite which replaces the previously available Safety Sense P.
The Hybrid model gets power from a 2.5 L four-cylinder engine teamed with two electric motors. Toyota says the system’s combined output is about 240 HP. These Highlanders are front-drive, while all-wheel drive is offered as an option. AWD hybrids have a third electric motor at the rear axle. The naturally-aspirated version hides a standard 3.5 L V6 engine under its curve. It is capable of pushing out up to 295 HP. The previously standard 2.5 L four-cylinder motor was dropped. The remained mill is teamed with a familiar eight-speed automatic which sends power to the front wheels as standard. However, drivers can choose between two all-wheel drive configurations. The first one comes as standard on three trims: the L, LE, and XLE. It’s nothing but a typical reactive system that runs as front-wheel drive and sends power to the rear axle when slippage is detected. Once traction is regained, it’s FWD again. The second option is the latest Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD. It’s a predictive system that can split torque to not only front and rear but also right or left wheels depending on driving conditions. It's available on V6-powered versions. To improve fuel efficiency, both Rear Driveline Disconnect and automatic stop/start systems are offered.
