For a number of reasons, the latest version of the Aston Martin DBS is claimed to be one of the most stunning cars out there. This model has it all: elegance, horsepower, and thrilling driving dynamics. It was released last year and quickly gained a lot of attention from high-performance car buyers. Based on the DR11’s architecture, the model went its own way in terms of exterior and interior design. With its design still fresh, the DBS Superleggera returns this year with no significant changes. Just like before, this range-topper of the automaker brings a perfect combination of eye-catching looks and impressive performance. Its powertrain along with the requisite abundance of up-to-date technologies also carries over. All 2020 Aston Martin DBS parts under the curve keep cooperating in harmony for an exciting driving experience, while multiple accessories make it stand out from all other high-performance luxury sports cars. The only 2020 change is the addition of a successor of the Vanquish Zagato and convertible version to the DBS lineup.
Only 19 examples of the Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato were built. The model actually looks very similar to its predecessor. It has a double-bubble roof, exaggerated rear fenders, rocket booster tail lights, and large front grille. However, there are a great number of differences that make the newbie unique. The biggest thing about it is certainly its front grille that is active. It is made up of 108 individual pieces of carbon fiber. Those pieces move to make a grille flush with the body when the car is shut off and open to allow air to pass through when it fires up.
The all-new open-air variant of the DBS Superleggera combines a striking appearance with breathtaking driving performance. It’s the second Aston Martin car in the 21st century to get the Volante name. On the mechanical side of things, the newbie gets power from the same 5.2 L twin-turbocharged V12 engine found under the hood of the coupe. This mill is capable of pushing out an impressive 715 horsepower and providing of 663 lb. ft. of torque. It’s quiet enough to allow the droptop version to run from zero to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds (0.2 seconds slower than the coupe model). That motor is teamed with an eight-speed automatic from ZF.
The DBS Superleggera Volante was blessed with an updated version of the automaker’s Aeroblade II system which together with a double diffuser returns up to 390 pounds of maximum downforce versus the fixed-roof version’s 396.6 pounds. Although sharing many 2020 Aston Martin DBS parts and accessories under the metal with its coupe stablemate, on the outside, the convertible differs from it in not only top configuration but also a number of unique features. Thus, the model can be purchased with a carbon fiber rear tonneau cover and windshield surrounds. Inside, it greets with many uniquely designed parts and eye-catching 2020 Aston Martin DBS accessories. Leather and carbon-fiber trim throughout the cabin along with real metal accents bring just the right look and feel of luxury.
