A black paint job is not the only option though; this pickup truck can be had in conservative Gun Metallic and elegant Pearl White. Powering the 2018 Nissan Titan XD is a standard gasoline-fed Endurance V8 engine that displaces 5.6 liters and pumps out 390 hp and 401 lb-ft, backed by a 7-speed automatic. For those who tow frequently, there's a 5.0-liter Cummins diesel that delivers 310 hp and 555 lb-ft of twist, with all this massive torque managed by a 6-speed automatic. The Titan XD comes in a selection of trim levels, starting with the base S and ending with the top-of-the-line Platinum Reserve. In between these two, there is an SV model that adds extra features to power windows & locks, 17'' wheels, Bluetooth tech, cruise control, and hill-start assist offered in the standard S. The entry-luxury SL adds bright 20'' wheels, an improved 12-speaker audio system instead of a 6-speaker one, heated seats, and leather interior to the list of 2018 Titan XD accessories and systems. There's also a Pro-4X truck ready for playing in the mud, that has 4WD as a standard feature, compared to other XDs that come with rear-wheel drive as a base layout. Its off-road readiness is enhanced by monotube coilover shocks by Bilstein, locking rear differential, and hill descent control.
