The 2017 Hyundai Ioniq received an aerodynamic body, emphasized by a fluid shape and natural air flow channels. Together with other advanced efficiency solutions, it allows the model to provide a 0.24 coefficient of drag. Each version of the Ioniq offers some distinctive design details that differentiate it from others. The hybrid variant comes with Bi-Xenon HID headlights and C-shaped LED positioning lamps around them. LED daytime running lights (also C-shaped), corporate hexagonal grille, and 15” or 17” two-tone alloy wheels complete the look. The plug-in hybrid version features the same grille and LED daytime lights, but comes with low-beam LED headlights and different 16” alloy wheels. Besides, its left front fender features a charging portal for a car battery. The Ioniq Electric comes with a grille that is essentially a sleek surface, as there is no need for extensive engine cooling. The car also features rear combination lamps and distinctive eco-spoke alloy wheels.

Just like the exterior, the interior of the 2017 Hyundai Ioniq highlights its futuristic elements with a Purified High-Tech design concept. It presupposes efficient use of space inside along with smooth and clutter-free theme and structured controls layout for intuitive operation. Inside, there are ecologically-sensitive or recycled materials that make the interior look sleek and light.
