The Toyota Tundra entered the 2010 model year with a wide range of improvements and two new packages (Work Truck and Platinum). As its name implies, the Work Truck is focused on commercial customers and those who need high towing and cargo capacities without extra amenities. It comes with a choice of V6 and two V8 engines, with the most potent being a 5.7 L 381-hp V8 that allows the Tundra to tow 10,800 lb. The model also comes with rubber flooring and vinyl seats and is offered as a Regular and Double Cab. The Tundra with the Work Truck package is available with a lower MSRP than the standard model. On the other hand, the Platinum package offers a high level of refinement and a number of luxury features like wood grain trim, sunroof, and seats that are heated and ventilated.

Starting in 2010, the Toyota Tundra offers a two-grade strategy. Now, the truck is available in either Tundra or Limited grade. The latter is available on Double Cab and CrewMax V8 versions and the Tundra is offered on all other variants. The SR5 trim was reorganized – now it's an option package. All versions of the 2010 Toyota Tundra come with a redesigned grille (two-bar for the Tundra trim and billet-style for the Limited) and tail lights. The model also comes with height-adjustable headlights, knee airbags for the driver and front passenger, and redesigned 7-pitch connector.

The Toyota Tundra received mechanical updates for 2010. A new 4.6 L V8 good for 310 hp is available now for all versions of the truck. It’s an advanced engine that uses the latest technologies like dual independent VVT-i and aluminum alloy head, delivering remarkable performance and returning up to 20 mpg. Apart from the new power unit, the 2010 Toyota Tundra employs a 4.0 L V6 developing 236 hp as the base engine and 5.7 L V8 capable of generating 381 hp as the top-of-the-line option. All engines employed by the new Tundra are outfitted with the Acoustic Control Induction System. A V6 is directed through a 5-speed automatic and both V8 options are teamed with a 6-speed automatic.

2010 Toyota Tundra Accessories & Parts Reviews

Almost a Great Product
Easy to install and fits nicely. One thing I wish the supplier can do is include Valcro or some double sided tape to address the issue with the liner sticking up or not sitting flush into the bed at the end. I looked into buying my own double sided tape for this but then it looks like the edge of the liner in which you would put the tape on is a little bit too narrow which may not be strong enough to hold. Would be nice if this can be re-engineered and tape be provided.
