Although the fit and finish are great and a perfect match for OEM parts, the picture (compared to other websites) gives the appearance that the back of the light is darker in color. This would have given it a more modern appearance (similar to Spyder lights) if this were the case. However, they look just like the others in real life. So I paid extra for these lights only to have the same outcome.

We put these on our 2005 Mini Cooper and it looked like it just came off the showroom. No problem on the install.

Love the lights. Had bought 2 other sets of junk lights. Had some one Recon and Hella to me. Love them.

Perfect replacement. Exact match to OEM. Due to car design the bumper must be removed to install the light. Bumper must be removed to install any light on this model Mercedes. Dealer did install for me for 300 bucks with alignment.

After having my headlights polished a few years back, they glazed over again and while replacing a bulb, I discovered the internal wiring was losing its insulation. Some things are just going to wear out. These Hella replacements are perfect as my original Passat lights were Hella as well. Much better pricing (about $110 ea.) than getting them from the dealer and replacing and aligning them was a two hour job. I do most of my own car work and have dealt with several online parts companies. Service after the order is key. One of the headlights arrived broken and I sent a picture to CARiD. They immediately ordered a replacement, no return of the broken one necessary. I'm very pleased with the service by CARiD. I'll be ordering from them again.

I needed to replace the headlights in my 92 XJ as the old units were very dim. I could have gone for a less expensive light but I wanted some newer technology. I installed them in about 20 mins which included trimming the rubber gasket in the rear so they would fit in the bracket. I would recommend these lights to anyone wanting to upgrade.

The light is a direct replacement for sealed beam lights and provides vastly improved night vision. The low beams have no upward scatter and do quite well in fog. You will probably have to re-aim your lights from the factory settings, but this is minor. I rated installation as average, only because changing any headlights in the truck I installed them in is a major undertaking. Only having to replace the bulb is a huge time saver. In most applications, the change is as easy as changing the original lights.

I used these to replace the headlights of an AM General vehicle and they work great.
