Since tires are the only components that connect your vehicle to the road, a whole lot of performance assets depend on their condition, including braking and handling. A new set of tires means the traction with the road surface is restored or even made better, so your Chevrolet Tahoe can brake quicker and handle more predictably. All-season tires are a popular choice. They feature special grooving so as to resist hydroplaning by drawing water through the tread channels, thus improving the connection between the wheels and the road in rainy conditions. Their tread compounding is rich in silica in order to provide a lasting service life, while being suitable for a range of operating temps.

Winter tires have dense sipes, higher treads, and deep channels in order to maximize traction during bad weather, snow, sleet, etc. Their superior grip in these dangerous conditions is also ensured by a soft rubber compound which remains pliable in freezing temps. Their summer counterparts come outfitted with shorter treading, shallower channels, all while having no siping, in order to provide a wide contact area. This maximizes the footprint with the surfacing in the warmer months and ensures excellent performance regardless of whether the road is dry or wet. The 2001 Chevy Tahoe tires that we stock are supplied by companies that include Nitto, Yokohama, Michelin, Toyo, Pirelli, and many more, so you are guaranteed an excellent shopping experience!

Solid All Terrain Tire
Switched to these on my '04 Tahoe. They've been okay on rain-soaked roads and offroad traction is nice as well. There's a bit more road noise than I expected on the highway, though.
