There are many types of tires offered on the modern-day aftermarket for your Jeep Grand Cherokee. Their designs differ depending on how you’re going to use your SUV, in what climatic conditions, whether it serves daily driving or off-roading duties, or both. For instance, there are tires which perform great on long highway stretches and in urban areas, while also allowing you to hold your own off the beaten path, along countryside roads, and up on rough terrain. We also have off-road tires with reinforced sidewalls which are resistant to damages, and bigger-size shoulder blocks that ensure considerable traction.
While all-seasons provide the convenience of having one set on your SUV all year round, they are typically not designed to handle harsh winter driving conditions and don’t offer the level of grip that a set of summer rubber has in the hot weather. Winter tires are created to allow your SUV to take on snowy trails and slushy city roads. It’s recommended to switch to them at temps lower than 45°F. Winter rubber doesn’t harden when it’s freezing cold while offering higher treading, deeper grooves, hefty siping, and so on. 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee tires that we carry are supplied to us by companies including Michelin, Cooper, Toyo, BFGoodrich, Falken, and many others.
