Since the days it first appeared on the auto market in 1986, Acura has become known as one of the biggest trailblazers of the automobile industry. It not only was the first Japanese luxury automotive brand ever launched; Acura’s first flagship vehicle, the Legend, became the inspiration behind Nissan’s and Toyota’s Infiniti and Lexus luxury automobiles. The heart of each Acura vehicle is the engine. Unfortunately, the engine can get overheated if the cooling system is not functioning properly. After all, it is up to the cooling system to absorb the excess heat and keep the engine from getting damaged. If the radiator, thermostat, water pump, or cooling fans get worn out or damaged, your Acura is in danger.

Every car, including your luxurious Acura, relies on a fully functioning cooling system that keeps the engine operating at optimal temperature. We offer an incredibly vast selection of Acura engine cooling parts built by world-recognized manufacturers, such as Spectra Premium, Airtex, Dorman, Beck Arnley, and others. Whether you have to replace a water pump that got corroded, a damaged radiator, a failed thermostat, or any other engine cooling part, we have exactly what you need.

"Antifreeze" is a chemical, primarily consisting of ethylene glycol, which when mixed with water serves to lower the freezing point and raise the boiling point of the mixture. Traditionally, the combination of antifreeze and water is known as "coolant". As opposed to air-cooled vehicles which rely on fan-driven air blowing over engine components, water-cooled engines use a radiator, water pump, thermostat, heater core, hoses, and passageways within the engine.

Everyone knows that your vehicle's engine needs its oil and filter changed at regular intervals. Most folks also know that there are other items which need regular servicing and replacement, such as the air and fuel filters. But what about the cooling system? The fact is, a modern vehicle's cooling system does such a great job at preventing an engine from overheating that we all but ignore it. The reality is, all vehicle manufacturers have a recommended interval when the coolant should be replaced.

2003 Acura CL / Posted by Fairlyn (Sacramento, CA) /

So far so good. I installed the radiator over two weeks ago. No problems, good fit for my car. It is awkward that the box it came in was labelled with TYC rather Koyorad.
