Since 1905, Dayco has been a leader in the automotive parts manufacturing industry. During the early 1900s, Dayco was the first and only company manufacturing the airless tire. In 1921, the company produced the first raw-edge V-belt, a design still in use today. Today Dayco is known for its replacement parts that keep vehicles moving for both professional technicians and do-it-yourselfers.

Dayco is recognized as an innovative leader in the development, design, and manufacturing of a wide range of OE and replacement parts, including the most innovative advancement in serpentine belt design in over 25 years, the Dayco Poly Rib “W” Profile serpentine belt. Dayco is also famous for its Timing Belt-in-Oil, which weighs less, has lower stretch, reduces friction, and is quieter than traditional chain-drive components.

The company constantly researches and develops new products. Its commitment to excellence has also resulted in being honored with a number of awards for premium quality, reliability, and durability of its products. For instance, in May 2014, the company was presented with the 2013 Recognition of Achievement Award for 'Durability and Reliability' at the Ford Motor Company's 16th annual World Excellence Awards ceremony.

1967 Chevy CK Pickup

Dimensionally the same as the original GM balancer. Replacing a 40+ year old balancer with a rubber mounted outer weight is a very good idea and this piece is perfect. Once installed no one can tell the difference and you won't end up wit a hole in your hood or worse.
