Opting for the SL550 trim adds a turbocharged 4.7-liter V8 with an output of 449 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, coupled with the same nine-speed automatic. The SL550’s 0-60 mph time is rated at 4.3 seconds. The AMG SL pairs its brand-new seven-speed automatic transmission with a 577-horsepower turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 engine. It reaches 60 mph within 4.0 seconds. The uplevel AMG SL65 has a 621-horsepower 6.0-liter V12 engine under the hood, mated to a seven-speed automatic. It sprints to 60 mph in outstanding 3.9 seconds.
