Gas-only engine options include a 2.4-liter 185-horsepower four-cylinder and a 3.5-liter V6 that generates 278 horsepower - the latter is only available on the top EX-L and Touring models. The four-cylinder can be mated either to a six-speed manual gearbox or to a CVT. Shifting control on V6-equipped models is carried out by a six-speed automatic or manual transmission. The 2017 Honda Accord comes generously equipped with driver assists and amenities on a base LX trim, not to mention the uplevel Touring model.
