It features 2-position upper arms and adjustable lower arm to accommodate various skis and boards, with soft, flexible padding to protect your valuable snow gear. The HitchSki includes SKS lock cores and keys to lock skis/boards to the carrier.

Unfortunately, most ski and snowboard mounts on the market are designed to attach to roof rack crossbars. If you’re contemplating installing a roof rack system just to haul your skis or boards and you already have a hitch bike rack, we recommend the HitchSki Ski and Snowboard Rack as a sensible and economical alternative. The HitchSki converts your mast-style hitch bike rack into a ski and snowboard carrier. Instead of mounting an expensive roof rack system just for your snow gear, now you can get year round use out of your bike rack. The HitchSki mounts to most 4 and 5-bike mast-style hitch bike racks. It rests on the bike cradles and is secured with the same straps used to secure the bike frames. It features 2-position upper arms and adjustable lower arm to accommodate various skis and boards. Both have soft, flexible rubber padding to protect your skis or boards. The HitchSki can carry up to 6 pairs of skis or up to 4 snowboards, or up to 3 pairs of skis and 2 snowboards. Once loaded, the arms can be locked with the included SKS (Same Key System) lock cores and keys. To lock the HitchSki and the bike rack to the vehicle, the Yakima ArmLock or DeadLock cable and hitch lock (not included) can be used.
