Made from specially developed PolyMatrix compound, these performance brake pads represent Wilwood ultimate technological achievements. PolyMatrix brake pads provide improved braking together with high wear resistance for a wide operational temperature range.

Wilwood brake pad compounds have undergone rigorous testing over many years resulting in optimized braking and superior pedal feel for all kinds of street performance, motor sport and competition applications. PolyMatrix pad compound is manufactured from proprietary friction material featuring smooth engagement and high fade resistance for long service life. In the PolyMatrix line Wilwood offers “A”, “H”, “Q”, “B”, “C”, “E” compounds each developed to fit a certain application from the street performance and drag race operating at medium temperatures to severe duty asphalt and road race operating at high temparatures. Do not drive on untested brakes. Brakes must be tested after installation or maintenance.

Make sure pedal is firm: Hold firm pressure on pedal for several minutes, it should remain in position without sinking. If pedal sinks toward floor, check system for fluid leaks. DO NOT drive vehicle if pedal does not stay firm or can be pushed to the floor with normal pressure.
At very low speed (2-5 mph) apply brakes hard several times while turning steering from full left to full right, repeat several times. Remove the wheels and check that components are not touching, rubbing, or leaking.
Carefully examine all brake components, brake lines, and fittings for leaks and interference.
Make sure there is no interference with wheels or suspension components.
Drive vehicle at low speed (15-20 mph) making moderate and hard stops. Brakes should feel normal and positive. Again check for leaks and interference.
Always test vehicle in a safe place where there is no danger to (or from) other people or vehicles.
Always wear seat belts and make use of all safety equipment.

Most Impressive Brake Pads I Have Ever Owned!

My minivan had new Duralast Gold brake pads when I bought it used. Couldn’t stop fast to save your life. Would not lock up tires no matter how hard you try. Took too much pedal effort and stops were always longer than they should be. Pads are worn to squealer bar after only 22,000 miles. Uneven wear due to dry installation. Just finished bedding in my new Wilwood stock replacement pads. INCREDIBLE. Barely touching the pedal has me stopping early with ease. I’m in love! I want them on all my cars. I’m a mechanic. 20 plus years doing brakes. These are better than all others, including top performance brands like Brembo, StopTech, Centric, Hawk, EBC, etc.
