Whelen Emergency Warning Equipment

Whelen Engineering specializes in designing and manufacturing warning systems that include illumination lights, sirens, warning lights, controllers, and other products for aviation, automotive, and mass notification industries globally. Whelen encompasses several work-of-art manufacturing facilities in New Hampshire and Connecticut. The company employs one of the largest staffs in the industry, with more than 1,500 employees, all sharing the same dedication to products that people can count on.

The founder, George W. Whelen, invented the first anti-collision beacon for rotating aircraft in his own garage in Deep River, Connecticut. The beacons that the company was offering gained a considerable reputation for their durability and high quality, and very soon George W. Whelen designed a magnetic beacon for police cars and ambulances. While the company was progressing, Mr. Whelen’s work staff was also leading the industry in technical and production innovations, which is reflected in all of the company’s products from a Whelen siren to Whelen lights.

The company’s progressive thinking that helped nurture its beacon advancements is also responsible for developing strobe technology during the 1960s, Whelen light bar designs during the 1970s, and LED lights in the 2000s. In our days, Whelen’s powerful lights, sirens, and advanced LED technology are relied upon to keep people safe throughout the world. Each and every component of Whelen products is designed and manufactured with pride in the U.S. and is also tested on location in order to meet some of the toughest requirements and certifications in the industry. Whether in the air or on the road, Whelen is trusted to perform around the globe!

Amazing Look On My Chevy
You know it’s a great day when you spend thousand dollars for such thing as light bar for your vehicle and you feel satisfied. Delivered without any damages, incredibly careful packaging. Installation took not so many time as I thought, and quality is on the highest level. Will order more for other trucks. Good choice.

Great Purchase
For the first time I thought that spend 1500+ bucks on light bar is madness but you will understand that it’s a great transaction once you will see how it work. Extremely bright and overall feels awesome. Would recommend.
