Whether you are a contractor or just looking for a multi-functional headache rack to secure your cargo, Westin’s HLR Truck Rack is the logical solution. Accessorize your HLR Truck Rack with a variety of options to secure ladders, lights, beacons, and tie-downs using Westin's unique bolt-on-channel system design. HLR also comes standard with the ladder side load brackets included for added functionality. It accommodates most toolboxes and can be easily installed at home without drilling on most applications using factory holes. The weather-resistant finish stands up to the elements and comes standard in a black powder coat finish, with a 5-year warranty. Don’t settle for less when the answer is obvious...Westin’s HLR Truck Rack!

Installing the HLR Truck Rack makes your truck both more practical and – if you are going for the heavy-duty look – more stylish. This is especially true when combined with the HD Grille Guard and HD Running Boards. This rack is very popular in the Southwest, where people know how to keep cool. The slanted louvers shade the rear window, which protects the interior from UV rays and keeps the temperature down, without obstructing the rear view. This is of course true in the rest of the country too. Truck cabs get hot everywhere in blazing sunlight. The headache rack not only protects you from the sun, it also protects you from having cargo protrude the rear window in emergency situations. The headache rack can help you keep the cab and the bed free from all those necessities that is difficult to find a place for; the tow rope, the snow chains, the tools, the jumper cables, the shovel, etc. Attach hooks and boxes and turn the headache rack into a storage place. Add a HD ladder rack and you are equipped to carry ladders, lumber, pipes and all kinds of long objects. The round top tube of the headache rack makes it easy to slide long objects in place. The side supports on the rack are designed as built in side stops, welded on hooks make it easy to secure loads carried on the rack. Maximize the usability of your truck and add the HLR Truck Rack. Very Robust, Looks Good
I know this is advertised as a heavy duty item, but I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it is. It was more expensive than some other racks I considered, but they're definitely not build like this one.

Looks Great and is Super Strong
Added this to a new Ram 3500 Dually to protect the cab, to fasten straps to, to mount off-road lights to and an emergency LED light beacon to. It came with the light mounts (4) and side anchors for hooking straps to. My main concern was I didn't want a headache rack that was wobbly and this one is extremely sturdy with large mounting brackets. I spent two hours looking at all kinds of headache racks on the Internet and narrowed down to this one because it was made of steel, was sturdy, had all the mounts for lights, was powder coated and looked awesome (which is what attracted me to this one in the first place). In my opinion, you can't buy a better rack at twice the price.

Headache Rack
I am extremely satisfied with this product. It is heavy duty and looks great. The installation was simple and took me about 1 hour from the time I opened the box, until I completed installation. Tip, unless you have an over sized tool box, you do not need the brackets for a standard tool box. Save yourself the cost of the brackets. It will cost you more money in shipping than the brackets cost.
