Weiand Performance Parts

Weiand is a reputable manufacturer of the finest intakes and superchargers. The company launched by Phil Weiand in the 1930s started out with a focus on providing efficient performance parts that would meet or exceed the changing needs of the industry. With its unwavering commitment to top-notch quality and craftsmanship, Weiand pioneered the development of the first ever aluminum intake, the "Weiand" manifold, which was introduced to the market in 1937.

The out-of-the-box thinking coupled with passion for speed has helped Phil Weiand to pave the company's path to success. Dedicated to meet the needs of the most discerning customers, Weiand manufactured superior dual-carburetor manifolds for those avid street racers who wanted to go faster. Built with precision and meticulous attention to detail, the "High Weiand" with tall carburetor stacks, grabbed the attention of the majority of speed maniacs.

With a wealth of experience, after WWII Weiand unveiled series of "tri-power" and four 2-barrel manifolds and presented aluminum cylinder heads for flathead Ford engines. In 1952 Weiand launched the outstanding "Drag Star" line of "log" manifolds for Hemi engines and started building superchargers based on the GMC blower design that were introduced in 1957. Putting tomorrow's technologies through their paces those days, in 1965 Weiand created the famous "Colt" — the first dual plane, 180º intake. Three years later the "Hi-Ram Manifold" came from Weiand unveiling the patented D-port technology.

With uprising popularity, Weiand worked even harder to develop new manifold series that would make more ''X-terminator" single plane manifolds, aluminum water pumps, "X-CELerator" single plane intakes, "Team G" series of 360º racing manifolds, the "Stealth" series of high performance dual plane manifolds. The company's "Pro-Street" supercharger was recognized "emissions legal" by CARB and got the industry's first "E.O." for an intake manifold. Using cutting-edge Computational Fluid Dynamics software, Weiand designed the Warrior intake know for outstanding air/fuel delivery. Today, the company remains a leading innovator in intake manifold and blower development as well as high flow water pumps.
